It doesn't get much easier than a simple t-shirt dress, bonus points for this one because it's striped. It's definitely ideal summer/vacation attire, which I can attest to since we've been experiencing a bit of humidity along with the heat in Los Angeles lately. I always tie something around my waist to avoid looking block-y (although looking block-y is not always a bad thing), and a little bit of thoughtful accessorizing goes a long way. I was super excited to wear my new lace-up flats from ASOS! Shoes that lace-up are one of my favorite trends this season, even though they can be a pain to put on and take off. They really do an amazing job of dressing up simple outfits, so it's worth it!

seriously those shoes are the bomb. and i'm always hesitant to wear t-shirt dresses because i have no figure so i get kind of lost in them. it never occurred to me to tie something around my waist (it seems so obvious now!!). i'll have to consider that next time i'm eyeing a tshirt dress(:

I love this sunset glow in the background! It makes you look so angellic and lovely :) Also, i definitely agree with you on the strapping flats trend! I love it so much and it adds such a chic flair to any look but it's absolutely hell getting them off and restrapping haha
