California Dreamin'

Currently experiencing a cold winter down under (let's be real though, it's not THAT cold) and I thought I'd post some pictures of my beloved California in order to appease my homesickness. In rough order: rolling hills at Cesar Chavez Park in Berkeley (the perfect picnic spot if you can get over how windy it always is), buckets full of tulips (my favorite) in a cargo truck, gourmet ice cream from Ici (their candied meyer lemon ice cream sandwiches=the best), the view of the Golden Gate from Cesar Chavez, my Panasonic GF2 with Olympus pancake lens and fobby hipster neckstrap, hairy leopard loafer flats from Threadsence, breakfast in a sandwich (what could be better?), in line for the (overrated IMO) Porchetta sandwich from Roli Roti at the SF Farmers' Market, my favorite bowl of Pho Ga from Oakland, Tyme for Tea in Fremont, Lake Anza at Tilden Park, passing golden fields on the drive to Napa, bike-riding around vineyards, giant macarons from Bouchon Bakery.
