So I think we are finally saying "so long sweet summer" for real now. Last night, I went to sleep with the windows open and it got so cold that I actually dreamt about freezing my butt off whilst trying to sleep (in a different bed). As excited as I am to finally switch up my wardrobe options a bit, I'll always be a summer girl at heart. I know I've complained a lot about the heat, but one thing I'll never be happy to say goodbye to is Daylight Savings Time! Less hours of sunlight mean less time for taking photos. Never a good thing :(.

I completely feel you on the less sunlight thing...never a good thing racing against the sunsetting haha! By the way I love your pictures, do you use an 18-55mm lens? I'd love to know since I am new to my camera haha:)

I use the 50mm f/1.4 for most of my photographs and I whole-heartedly recommend it. If you only have one lens in your arsenal besides the kit lens, it should definitely be that! It runs about $400 but you can get the 50mm f/1.8 D which is also a great lens for less than $150 I believe. It will definitely give you a lot of bang for your buck!
