wasted daylight

If it weren't for the fact that this skirt was on sale for only $7.50, I probably never would've purchased it. It's a little too "rawr" for my taste, but I do love a good flowy high-low skirt and being practically a steal, I just couldn't pass it up (must be the Asian in me). Nevertheless it sat buried in the depths of my wardrobe, untouched for many months until I finally pulled it out with determination to make it work. Paired with this terracotta pink top from MinkPink, it struck just the right balance between tough and sweet for my sensibilities. And now that it's finally starting to cool down in LA (wouldn't be a post from me without some talk about the weather), I can finally start to get some mileage out of my favorite denim jacket from Zara!! I tried to match my lips to my top using OCC Lip Tar in Demure, which Sephora recently started carrying by the way. Still unsure how I feel about the product...TBD.
