Ever since I saw a feature in Refinery29 on growing an indoor succulent garden, I've been itching to try making one. An especially fascinating fact about this plant-type of the moment is that you can actually propagate one plant into more plants by cutting off pieces and placing them in soil! Sounds magical if you ask me. Finally, with a wave of warm weather coming through LA, I thought it'd be the perfect time to pay a visit to the cactus store. A little pricier than some places maybe, but if I propagate my little baby plants into more plants, they will pay for themselves, right...?

I'm absolutely in love with that hat...such a fun color! Also, the mood of the pictures has me wishing for summer!
