Are you drooling right now the way I am? Just looking at these pictures makes my tummy grumble! Until recently, I actually hated raw fish. Eating sushi meant enjoying my favorite Dragon Roll (which I still love, by the way); raw fish was too "fishy" and I couldn't stand the cold slimy texture in my mouth. In fact, for the most part, I still prefer not to eat raw fish! Chef Nozawa's Sugarfish is one of my few exceptions. Everything I've had there has been perfect and super fresh and at all fishy or gross. The rice is served warm and has almost a buttery texture that melts in your mouth! And the best part is, I don't get that vein-clogging coma feeling afterwards! Definitely check out Sugarfish if you're a sushi fan.

DeleteI don't think I have a favorite sushi...everything was so delicious. At most restaurants I tend to go for Spicy Tuna though so maybe that...it was kind of my gateway into eating raw fish!
