Dressing Up
So in scrolling through my Instagram feed, I realize that it has been a good long while since I've actually worn a pair of heels. Some might even say I've been loving comfortable shoes a little bit too much lately. Sneakers and sandals definitely have their place, but sometimes it's worth putting in a little extra effort and going for the whole nine yards, or at least six yards--even if it is a bit uncomfortable and I don't have any place to get dressed up for. Heels are the easiest way to add some instant glam to an outfit and I got this eye-catching red pair (my favorite shoe color, always!) of heels for only $9.99 plus tax from ShoeDazzle. There was a special discount since they were my first pair, but even the regular price would be an amazing deal considering that they make me feel like one hundred dollars at least. Even when I'm just going to dinner at Souplantation *_~.
Striped crop top, JOA. Pleated skirt, Forever 21. Floral lace-up heels, ShoeDazzle. Metro watch, Kate Spade. Thread drop earrings, American Eagle Outfitters. Jeweled statement necklace, J.Crew Factory. Mini Valentina crossbody bag, Botkier.

Sometimes it is nice to throw on a pair of heels . . . but sometimes you can't compete with the comfort of flats, sandals and sneakers. I love this outfit though! The red, blue and camel play nicely with one another!
ReplyDeletePretty red heels and the lighting of these photos are beautiful!
