perfectly shrunken
Those of you who follow my blog closely may notice that I'm still on the path of rediscovery in my own closet. I previously wore this Lucca Couture dress in this post here. After a recent laundry mishap it shrank a good amount, but only the outer layer! I don't mind at all though, I actually think the shorter length actually fits me better. And also, the lining now creates a nice sort of trim, don't you think? It looks good enough to pass as intentional, if you ask me. I think we can chalk up this whole ordeal as a happy accident.
Blue floral dress, Lucca Couture. Army shirt vest, Threadsence (DIY). Belt, vintage. Sandals, Steve Madden. Brown satchel messenger, Asos.

Lol a happy accident indeed!
ReplyDeleteIt does look prettier that way! That's pretty lucky it shrunk to that length :)
ReplyDeleteLove this! Especially the vest :)
ReplyDeleteWow, I love it. I get really sad when I take one of my garments out of the dryer and see that it has shrank. Not in this case! This is perfect, and I love how the lining does look like a trim. Maybe do it to the pink one too? hehe. You look beautiful as always. I love the pairing with the vest and belt. Have a wonderful weekend, pretty girl! xoxo
ReplyDeleteI love how the trim peeks out of the bottom of the dress now! :D

That such an awesome accident! I think the underskirt showing a bit actually looks really cute. Before reading what happened, I was thinking to myself how nice it was that you added a slip underneath!
ReplyDeleteI love the way you've styled this outfit! :)
