The tropical prints we've seen this season are nothing like the cheesy tropical prints of yore; no longer to be worn with your puka shell necklaces when you are on vacation in Hawaii, today's tropical prints can be totally chic! I admired this tropical-printed short suit set from Love Marks and the price was very affordable, but in the end opted to get just the shorts (asking myself, how many times will I wear a short suit set? LOL). The trend is probably a little too "matchy matchy" for me anyway, so I'm happy with my ultimate decision, but I couldn't help pairing the shorts with a blazer nonetheless. Shorts and blazers have got to be my favorite pairing this spring, keeping you cool and yet very classy at the same time!

Love this pairing! Tropical shorts and a blazer - definitely cool and classy ;) Good choice on just getting the shorts :D Although, I'm sure you'd be able to find ways to wear that tropical jacket - you always do wonders! :)
