I've been on a big floral print kick lately in case you hadn't noticed and it being now officially winter is not going to slow me down (not that it even feels like winter anyway; it's been in the 70s here all week). This lovely rose print is too pretty for words and I knew I had to have it as soon as I laid eyes on it (didn't I tell you that Missguided has the most awesome stuff?) I love how the lace-trimmed romper is a more playful take on the whole lingerie slip-dress trend that's all the rage recently. Plus items that aren't too overtly "trendy" tend to have more longevity. I layered my favorite cozy cardigan over it (which my boyfriend hates because he thinks it makes me look super frumpy) and a tweed blazer that I scored for $10 from Urban Outfitters two sizes too big a few years ago.
Alava rose print playsuit, Missguided. Cozy cardigan, Forever 21. Tweed blazer, UO (old). Dallas ankle boot, Kelsi Dagger or here. Brown messenger, Halston Heritage. Love necklace, Tobi.
That floral and that lace detailing are PERFECT. Wish the weather here in NY was like Cali! :(

At first I thought this was a slip dress, or maybe lace shorts layered under a cami, but a romper makes so much sense (and is so easy to wear!) I love blush/rosy shades as well, but I find that they don't usually work very well with my skin tone. I'll have to pin your picture as future inspiration:)
