Late January is definitely too early to start dressing for spring, but with LA weather being what it is, there's no way around it. While the rest of the country (except Hawaii?) battles the frigid cold, the island state of Southern California continues to experience balmy temperatures on most days. I'm not complaining, mind you, just explaining my outfit!
Denim shirt, Forever 21. Lace mini skirt, Endless Rose. Trench coat, Express. Jeweled statement necklace, J.Crew Factory. Watch, Akribos XVI. Tan bucket bag, Old Navy. Leopard pumps, Sole Society.
I am so in love with this dressy preppy look. The colors are just a perfect mix - light denim, cream, and beige. You look so pretty, lady!

This is such a nice look! I wish you a fabulous weekend. xoxo
ReplyDeleteI love this outfit! Denim shirts are one of my favorite pieces, and I love the girly touch that the lace skirt gives your outfit. Living in L.A., I completely understand what you mean. Sometimes I wish that we'd have more cold days so that I could get more wear out of my coats and sweaters.

Ugh so jealous you can wear this in January! Back in NY, I gotta bundle up and I'm still practically frozen solid after walking to class. Anyway, I love the girly, classy look here. That skirt is beautiful and is lovely color on you! The denim shirt helps it dress it down but not too much! I can see this being a hit for something like school or something.

You look so chic! The lighting in these photos is soft and lovely :) Love that coat and your bag!
ReplyDeleteTo answer your question -- I bought my MG bucket bag used so it's been loved quite a bit! I guess it just takes time to loosen up. I've also applied a leather conditioner a couple times to keep it soft.

Such a gorgeous outfit! I love your photos! And you're right, the weather here in Hawaii is pretty hot (usually in the 80s all year round) so we're on the same page!
