Lace Hems

With Valentine's Day just around the corner, it seems appropriate to rock a little bit of lingerie-inspired lace. The eyelash lace hem on these shorts is so pretty but also a bit risque, so to balance out the look, I paired them with a decidedly unsexy chunky sweater (even though it was pretty warm out). While much of the United States faces another winter storm this week, those of us in Los Angeles are getting hit with a February heatwave with temperatures in the mid 80s! In fact, I was driving around with my brother (who has Down syndrome) the other day and he was so confused by the warm weather that he turned to me with confusion and asked, "it's summer??"
