Beads and Sequins

Remember back in 2008 or so when sequins were all the rage? I remember having sequined shorts. Sequined tops that would leave scratch marks on my arms. And sequined leggings. And I would even wear them out during the day time. I even wore sequined shorts to class once. Nowadays I think sequins should be restricted to night-time wear, and also restricted to the holiday season. However, this bead and sequin combo tank top is an exception to the rule. The airy mesh and the lighter color-scheme means, in my book, that it can pass for every day, every season. In fact, for a sequined top, I find it very versatile. I could see wearing this top to a summer music festival. A holiday or Halloween party (it's got that flapper-esque vibe). A date or casual lunch. Even to the beach or dentist if I'm feeling particularly carefree. What do you think, are sequins a good pick for every day? Would you wear sequins during the daytime?
