Winter Formal

Metallic maxi dress, BCBGeneration (old). Tuxedo jacket, Silence + Noise. Isla sandals, French Connection.

A bit of metallic always feels right around the holidays and I find myself drawn to dramatic full-length styles as well, when I would typically find them a bit too fussy. The added length does help ward off the cold a bit. I wore this look to a wedding at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu which was actually pretty freezing (by California standards). I was kind of wishing I had worn a heavier coat, but I loved the way the dress looked with a tuxedo jacket!
