a circle & plaid
I love how American Apparel's circle skirts have the perfect amount of volume and structure. It's such a gloriously feminine silhouette that I decided to man it up a bit by pairing it with a "borrowed-from-the-boyfriend" plaid shirt. This one is not actually borrowed from the boyf though, but in fact from a made-for-girls label called JACHS Girlfriend. It's double layer and has all sorts of cute details such as floral print lining at the collar and sleeve openings. And it's washed-a-million-times soft! Topped it all off with my favorite cropped moto from Nasty Gal.
Navy plaid shirt, Jach's Girlfriend. Burgundy corduroy circle skirt, American Apparel. Cropped metallic moto jacket, Nasty Gal. Black ankle boots, Steve Madden. Earhart crossbody bag, Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent.
