Recently I paid off the largest of my school loans (woo hoo! 75% debt free!) but the downside to that is that I've had to cut back on shopping and other unnecessary expenses. I can't believe how stale my wardrobe feels after just a short time without a refresh though! It's definitely uninspiring. My current strategy for getting dressed is picking one article of clothing at random and building an outfit around that. Today's item was this pajama shirt (previously worn here). I tried it with a few different skirts but found the combo a little too cheery for my mood, so I eventually settled on these pleather shorts.
Pajama shirt, Tobi. Pleather shorts, Mikkat Market. Thick ankle strap heels, Zara. Incognito wool hat, Nasty Gal. Metallic satchel, Botkier. Kensington watch, Nixon.

ReplyDeleteIf there is one piece of advice I can give you in the wardrobe department it is to go thrift shopping! I don't know how much opportunities there are for you, but if I go to a flea market I always come home with the nicest things for only a few euros. You do look great though! But I totally recognize the urge to refresh your wardrobe.
