Poppy

I'm not usually one to mix bright colors together in a single outfit, instead tending to opt for the single "pop" of color. Sometimes, though, it just feels right, you know what I mean? Feeling fresh from a new 'do (which I'm already itching to grow out), I needed a bit of color to throw some pep into my step. Lately as I've been bombarded with back-to-school features and promotions, it's made me really nostalgic for being in school again. Having new clothes, new shoes, and brand new school supplies. Remembering that excitement of planning my first-day-of-school outfit the night before and not being able to fall sleep. Hoping that my new teacher is nice and that there will be a cute boy in the classroom. I'm feeling rather grown up these days as another half birthday has just rolled on by, but in bright colors (and these bangs), I can still cling to the vestiges of childhood. O_O
