peasantries
Is it just me or does a floppy hat add instant glamour to whatever you are wearing? On this particular occasion it happened to be a bohemian blouse I picked up from the Zara sale. I thought I'd roll with the boho theme by adding fringed-shorts and some free-spirited accessories. The unfortunate lesson I learned was: PVC shorts are an uncomfortable idea on hot days, especially when sitting for hours through a painting class.
Peasant-style blouse, Zara. Quilted fringe PU shorts, Boohoo (currently offering 25% off everything with code 'USA25'). Brown leather belt, H&M. Floppy hat, vintage. MAB mini purse, Rebecca Minkoff. Suede Pax ankle boots, Sam Edelman. Necklaces and bracelets, Urban Outfitters & Forever 21.

I LOVE hats, they dress up everything. Too bad I never know what to do with my hat head, though! Cute look!
ReplyDeleteYou look so pretty! I can never carry off a floppy hat like you do.
ReplyDeleteYour hat is the perfect accessory for this outfit. Love everything about it! The booties are gorgeous too.

As Anna Dello Russo says in her song, Fashion Shower, "Fashion is always uncomfortable. If you feel comfortable you'll never get it." What I'm trying to say is those shorts are amazing!

This channels the bohemian side of song of style hehe :)
ReplyDeleteSometimes i feel like the boho look can be really dated just because it's so 70s inspired, but you did it really well. It totally looks modern! I love the fringe shorts and how you paired it with neutral colored boots.
